Kansas Cooking: Making Molé
Chef Gonzalo Sánchez from Pepe and Chela's Mexican Restaurant will show how to make molé and explain its significance in Mexican American heritage. Participants will prepare the sauce and take home leftovers. Class is open to 15 teams of two. Each two-person team must bring the following cooking utensils:
- two-quart saucepan
- three-quart mixing bowl
- small non-stick frying pan
- wooden spoon
- small cutting board
- small knife
- small strainer
- small ladle

Location: The museum classrooms at the Kansas Museum of History, 6425 SW 6th Ave. Time: From 2 - 4 pm.
Cost: Fee is $40 for a team of two. (Individual pricing not available.)
