Join us for the Tonantzin Society's Annual blessing of the ofrenda's and candlelight vigil and procession.
This year Professor David Young and Dr. Rene Fajardo of MSU Denver, Colorado will speak on the ceremonial importance of Dia de los Muertos. There will be a community altar to bring photos of a loved ones. Then we will light our candles and carry our mobile art as the Aztec Dance grupo Huitzilopochtli will lead us in procession down the sidewalks of the NOTO Arts District.
This is a community event and families are encouraged to attend!
Traditional Mexican snacks and refreshments will be served.
